The 2023 Rendez-vous Clients
The event, dedicated to the resilience of the gas system in a new energy context, was an opportunity to look back on the past winter and present the prospects for the coming months.
The state of play of renewable gas development projects that have become unavoidable due to the challenges of energy independence and decarbonation was also assessed. To illustrate the dynamism of these new gases, Thomas Pierre, Salamandre project manager (Engie/Storengy) presented the progress of this first pyrogasification project that will be connected to our network, in the port area of Le Havre and will produce 11,000 tonnes of low-carbon gas per year, or the consumption of 10,000 households.
Finally, biomethane is already a solution available to manufacturers to decarbonize their processes, Loic de Bergh, Arkema’s Energy Director, came to share his experience with us.
