"We are renewable gases": the campaign to free gas energy
Given the energy transition’s growing media presence, we have opted (once again) to give renewable gases the floor.
Renewable gas: an energy that is still misunderstood
The campaign launched in 2020 highlights the enormous potential of renewable gases. “While they currently represent barely 1% of gas consumed in France, renewable gases could cover 100% of French gas consumption by 2050,” Thierry Trouvé stated in the campaign launch press release. But what do we mean by “renewable gases”? How are they produced? What contribution could they make to France’s energy independence by 2050? How to they create jobs? In short… Who are they?
A campaign that plays on people’s emotions
To get people to listen up, we have given renewable gases the floor. “We are renewable gases” makes each renewable gas a full-blown part of the ecological transition. An active player who can express themselves as an individual. Far removed from technical discussions about the benefits of gas, we wanted to make this knowledge accessible to the greatest number of people by highlighting the positive impacts that renewable gases have on our lives.
A large-scale rollout
"We are renewable gases" takes place via five TV ads: a one-off 55 second format, a 30 second version, and three short 20 second formats, with social media used as a sounding board. The campaign comes together on the website Renewable gases : the energy of all possibilities, whose educational content includes a film, 14 key visuals, articles and a primer. Altogether, 2,300 TV ads will be broadcast on the major rolling news channels and on social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube). Renewable gases are everywhere.
What is our target audience?
Opinion leaders and stakeholders in the energy transition: French and European decision makers, economic stakeholders, industrial companies, the world of agriculture, producers, local authorities, young people... and more broadly the general public.
