Annual Capacity Auctions : opportunities in 2024
The annual capacity auctions on GRTgaz's Network Interconnection Points (PIR) will take place on PRISMA platform.
Firm capacity entry and exit PIRs will be auctioned on July 1, to ensure gas supply to France and Europe.
In particular, capacity will be auctioned at the 2 most used points on our network, known as :
- Dunkirk, entry point for Norwegian gas into France
- Oltingue, exit point to Switzerland.
Interruptible capacities, as well as the Oltingue firm entry point, will be auctioned on July 15, 2024 (publication on July 8).
Capacity availability conditions are specified in the ONC, Operational Network Code.
We would like to remind you that in accordance with the ONC (Exibit B3.1) reverse capacity (backhaul capacity) depends on Entry Scheduling.
For your information, this rule will be systematically applied from October 1, 2024 following an adaptation of our IT tools.
As a reminder, participation in PRISMA auctions does not require you to adjust your bank guarantee beforehand.
