Producing 20 million KWh of renewable gas from potato peel may sound mad. Nevertheless, this was the challenge that Altho-Brets overcame by installing an anaerobic digestion unit next to its crisps factory in Saint-Gérand, Morbihan. Its Director, Christophe Chrétien, gives a detailed account of the new life given to this waste.
