Jean-Marc Brimont appointed Managing Director of GRTgaz Deutschland
GRTgaz has appointed Jean-Marc Brimont Managing Director of GRTgaz Deutschland, its Berlin-based subsidiary. Jean-Marc Brimont was previously Director of International Development at GRTgaz.
Jean-Marc Brimont started his career in 2000 as a research engineer at Safran in the United States. in the United States.
In 2002, he joined Gaz de France, successively holding various positions in project management, operations-maintenance, sales and key account management.
In 2011, he joined GRTgaz's Strategy Department to work on transmission tariffs and investments in conjunction with the French regulator (CRE).
In 2014, Jean Marc Brimont joined Engie and took part in development projects in Indonesia focusing on LNG infrastructure and electricity production from gas.
In 2018, he was responsible for setting up GRTgaz's Representative Office in Brussels, which he headed before becoming Head of European Affairs in 2020 to prepare the revision of gas legislation.
In 2023, Jean Marc Brimont was appointed Director of International Development at GRTgaz. He leads the H2Med hydrogen corridor project, a partnership between Portugal, Spain, France and Germany.
In December 2024, with over 20 years' experience in gas infrastructure, he becomes Managing Director of GRTgaz Deutschland.
Jean-Marc Brimont holds a degree from École Centrale Lyon.
